That depends. Fort Health therapists are licensed to practice in specific states. If your child attends college in one of those states (see above), we can treat them. But if not, we cannnot treat them in a way that's compliant with regulations.
Fort Health accommodates families needing appointments after school hours. We also offer weekend appointments to ensure all families can access care, regardless of their schedule.

Fort Health will be able to see you/your child within the next 7 days unless you have very specific and limited availability.

Yes, Fort Health accepts all commercial insurance plans in NJ and most commercial plans in NY and PA.
We also accept Medicaid through our Collaborative Care program where we partner with primary care and pediatric practices.

Fort Healthoffers affordable self pay rates:
Therapy and caregiver coaching: $180 for the first 55 minute session and $150 for subsequent sessions 55 minute sessions.
Psychiatry: $400 for the initial 60-minute evaluation and $200 for 30-minute follow ups
Fort Health hires licensed child therapists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Our therapists receive additional training in evidence-based practices to ensure consistent quality of care as well as ongoing clinical supervision by our leadership.
Our psychiatric nurse practitioners are supervised by our medical director.
Fort Health uses evidence-based practices focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques that have been thoroughly studied. We also measure the effectiveness of our care using standerdized measures like GAD-7 and PHQ-9.
Fort Health's care managers match each child or adolescent with a therapist based on their needs and availability. The therapist then builds a personalized care plan following an evaluation meeting with the family. Care plans, as well as therapists, can be changed based on results. If care is not working, or if you or your child aren't satisfied with care, we will make changes.
Fort Health requires a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.
We require 48 hours' notice before cancellation except under extenuating circumstances. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, you can do so via your secure care portal or by contacting our care managers at (201) 208-2616 or by emailing care@FortHealth.com.
